Application development · Mobile information design · Project: June 2018
Public-service context
The City of Rio de Janeiro’s Um Novo Caminho program supported work with people affected by substance use. Teams and individuals needed a reference for information about treatment and places offering care and support.
My contribution
At the invitation of the city’s drug-policy coordination team, I developed a mobile application for the program in June 2018. The project was created for Android and iOS as a reference guide for people and teams looking for that information.
Information in a mobile reference
The application brought treatment and support information together in a mobile format. Its purpose was to help people find relevant services while working with individuals in vulnerable circumstances.
Relevant experience
The project illustrates application development for a public-service context and the organization of practical information around a defined audience. It connects a service team’s information needs to a mobile product.
